About the Job

Pacific International has been retained by a leading industrial manufacturer seeking a Regional Field Operations Manager in the Northern California region. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced professional who will drive business impact and effectively manage key operational processes. The ideal candidate will excel at both seeing the big picture and meticulously managing details to ensure success.

In this role, you will:

  • Have full ownership of business operations and performance within the assigned customer base.
  • Oversee a growing customer base, maintaining high standards of operational contribution, full P&L responsibility, and customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently meet financial targets and uphold safety objectives in a fast-paced, high-transaction, and customer-focused environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead efficient execution of services for new and existing business, ensuring high performance.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Champion a strong EH&S culture and oversee safety processes.
  • Align and implement business vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Foster innovative and entrepreneurial thinking within the team.
  • Empower employees to seek operational efficiencies and expand service offerings.
  • Collaborate with partners to address daily operational challenges, providing effective solutions.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with the region’s top 20 customers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, ensuring open dialogue.
  • Model positive leadership, coach team members, and drive organizational improvements.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent through performance management and a blend of internal and external hires.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement, enhancing productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Think strategically while executing tactical initiatives.
  • Oversee full P&L, inventory, accounts receivable, and capital expenditures.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Management, or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of management experience demonstrating required skills and knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience supervising, coaching, and influencing teams.
  • Ability to manage a dispersed workforce.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP and MS Dynamics is advantageous.

Compensation: $140,000 - 175,000 basic salary
