CAMPAIGN MODELER (Modeling/Simulation, Model-based Systems Engineer, Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA)):
REQUIRED: DoD Security Clearance: Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
100% onsite at Offutt AFB, NE.
Long-term PRIME CTR for div developing and directing the capabilities and resource analysis for USSTRATCOM. Conducts integrated campaign analysis across all USSTRATCOM mission areas, develops and analyzes key advocacy positions for USSTRATCOM financial and programmatic assessments, and coordinates the analytic efforts within USSTRATCOM and with external analysis agencies.
Job Requirements & Required Skills:
• Possess at least 10 years’ experience in their respective areas, i.e., model operation and technical support, prior to initial support execution. Specific models include but are not limited to Weapon Assignment Model (WAM) and the Universal Missile Protocol Instantiation Requestor (UMPIRE), Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM), or EXTENDSIM.
• Expertise with current Joint Campaign models used in USSTRATCOM, as listed in this paragraph.
• Contractors must have at least 10 years’ experience in campaign model integration, operation, and technical support.
• Contractors must have recent experience (within the last 5 years) with the following models : Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM), Weapon Assignment Model (WAM), or EXTENDSIM®.
• Possess at least 5 years of work experience in a DoD military organization with military terminology and activities associated with war planning (nuclear, conventional, kinetic, and non-kinetic).
• Possess at least 10 years’ experience in computer programming and database operations/management.
