We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Saranac Lake, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inpatient care, including conducting rounds, admissions, discharges, and patient consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care
- Conduct daily rounds and manage admissions and discharges
- Consult with specialists as needed
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Valid medical license in New York
- Procedures including central lines, vent management and intubation
- 8 Bed ICU (coverage)
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts 630pm-630am
- 7 days on/7 days off rotation nights
