Position Details
- Ratios: 1:4
- 2 years total acute care experience required; 1 year pediatrics experience required
- First-timers accepted
- Every other weekend and holiday commitment
- BLS, PALS certifications required
- Will float to adolescents, NICU-SCN, PHOC, PICU/NICU for appropriate PCU assignments
- No block scheduling
- Locals accepted
Patient Mix
24 bed pediatric stepdown, Newborn-11 years; Trauma, diabetics, high flow respiratory needs, PHOC overflow
Required Skills
- EPIC
- Wound care
- BiPAP/CPAP
- Managing trachs/chest tubes
- Seizure medications/disorders
- A-lines/PICCs/central lines/starting IVs
- Insulin administration
