Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week Day Shift Onsite Summary: The Lead MRI Technologist performs duties and adheres to standards of an MRI Technologist as well as perform the role of the lead MRI Technologist. Responsibilities: 1. Oversees the technical staff, technical procedures, patient care, and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care in the diagnostic area. 2. Performs duties and adheres to standards of a MRI Technologist as well as perform the role of the lead MRI Technologist. 3. Performs clerical duties in RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems are associated with this position. 4. Provides coverage to other Radiology positions in the department as needed 5. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age. 6. Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Experience in a radiological laboratory or hospital x-ray department is required. 2. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required. 3. Experience in healthcare is preferred. 4. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Education and Experience 1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Graduated from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. 2. Certification: Radiological Technologist license is required. BLS certification is required. 3. Must be licensed by the state of Ohio in Radiologic Technology. 4.
