Position Highlights: - Pay : $27 per hour
- Schedule : Monday - Friday
- Shift : 2nd shift, 5:15 PM start time (9-10 hour shifts)
- Weekly Hours : 45-50 hours per week
- Work Type : Local yard switcher/spotter position (no-touch freight)
- Equipment : Yard truck (automatic transmission)
- Slip Seat : Yes
Key Responsibilities: - Trailer Movement : Safely move and spot trailers within the yard to ensure smooth operations
- No-Touch Freight : No freight handling required trailer movement only
- Equipment Use : Operate yard trucks with automatic transmission
- Safety & Compliance : Follow safety protocols, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and comply with DOT regulations
Requirements: - CDL License : Valid Class A CDL
- Medical Card : Must have a current DOT medical card
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of CDL A driving experience required
- Transmission : Ability to operate automatic transmission yard trucks
- Clean Record :
- No DOT-defined accidents in the past 3 years
- No serious driving offenses in the past 7 years
- No felonies in the past 10 years (misdemeanors will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
