The Staffing Recruiter is responsible for ensuring that staffing levels and needs are met and maintained for plant operations and other department areas in the company.nnPrincipal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesnnIdentifies, develops, implements, evaluates, measures, and improves the recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions while maintaining required staffing as directed by Operations and/or Corporate.nnEstablishes an effective and efficient working relationship with plant management and Corporate customers which creates an environment that facilitates the interviewing process, thus enabling the hiring of qualified applicants. If applicable, provides training and direction to the hourly staff to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations concerning the interviewing process and AAP compliance.nnCreates new and innovative methods to improve the recruitment process and to continually improve the experience and skill set of applicants.nnRecommends to management for approval, implements, measures, audits and reports results to management.nnAchieves measurable results that demonstrate improvement in hiring ratio, i.e. applicants versus hires.nnEnsures all required paperwork,, e.g., application, reference checks and interview notes, are forwarded to the EPA (Employment Process Administrator) for proper, correct intake.nnMinimum EducationnnBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent related work experience.nnExperience RequirementsnnThe ideal candidate must also have:nnThree (3) years of progressive responsibilities in an HR role, at least two (2) years of those years in recruiting.nnPrevious experience in a staffing role within a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.nnProven knowledge of laws surrounding the interview process. Exposure to AAP requirements as it applies to the recruitment, interviewing, selection process.nnProven track record of innovative methods to recruit the targeted workforce and that result in turnover reduction.nnRequires an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1 to 3 year time span.nnMust be able to multi-task and organize multiple protocols and projects and complete on schedule.nnRequires strong analytical skills, ability to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level.nnMust be able to communicate to all levels of the organization, provide excellent customer service, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.nnRequires knowledge of and a commitment to team performance and effective coaching.nnRequires travel to other facilities and plants for meeting and/or company business.nnExperience PreferrednnEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsnnPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment:nnExposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.nnMay be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.nnMay handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.nnMay be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.nnMay be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.nnMust wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.nnMay need to climb ladders.nnPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
