This position involves responsibility for the performance of routine medical care and treatment of patients in accordance with detailed and well-defined policies, rules, and regulations.nnThe work is performed in accordance with well-established and accepted professional nursing practices, special orders from physicians, rules, and regulations.nnWork is performed pursuant to treatment orders as given by Physicians, under the direct and continual supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.nnDoes related work as required.nnThe L.P.N. will be placed in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom to support a student who has Type 1 Diabetes. This position requires supervision of student needs including: monitoring of health equipment related to diabetes, input of nutritional information, tracking and input of physical data/information, and close monitoring of physical and behavioral needs/changes.
