Montefiore Medical Center is looking for a full-time Board-Certified fellowship-trained Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine (RAAPM) physician to join their growing and extraordinarily busy practice. An innovative individual with change management skills is needed to mitigate challenges in a professional manner, while achieving the goals of the division. The Division Director will impart scientific leadership and clinical oversight in a challenging environment. This opportunity includes immediate leadership opportunities within the ACGME-accredited RAAPM fellowship program and division. The Director reports to the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology with dotted line reporting relationships to the Director of the Pain service and the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Responsibilities
• Orchestrate perioperative training and didactics for fellows, residents and medical students including curriculum development
• Cover regional anesthesia cases and the RAAPM service
• Supervision of CRNAs, fellows and residents
• Establish a new regional service at our main campus
• Manage the services across different campuses
• Recruitment of new faculty and fellows
• Support the Department s goals for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• Communicates well, demonstrates flexibility in the management of the service.

Requirements
• M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
• BC in Anesthesiology
• Completion of fellowship training in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine
• Minimum of five years experience
• Eligible for New York Medical License
• Demonstration of leadership abilities
