The team is looking for a LPN to work Per Diem Night shift (7pm-7am) and are willing to help train those looking to change direction in their nursing career!nnEddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a memory care community complete with 52 private and semi-private rooms providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence. Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment — those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but who do not need nursing home care. The center is thoughtfully designed and services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.nnAs a member of our caring, compassionate health care professionals the selected LPN will enjoy:nnGreat shift differentialsnnMinimal mandatingnnGreat co-workers that will become like a second familynnWork in an environment that is like a tradition "grandma's" house atmospherennStrong relationship building with residents and their familiesnnLocation that is an easy commute from Clifton Park, Albany, Troy and LathamnnSupport and development from a leadership team that is invested in furthering career goals and educationnnThe selected LPN will be responsible for, but not limited to:nnThe nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing DirectornnOversee a team of resident assistantsnnPass medications to approximately 26 residentsnnEducation of families on how to help care for their loved ones with memory loss and how to get the most success in their visitsnnMinimum Requirements:nnValid NYS LPN licensennPreferred Requirements:nn1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skillsnn1+ year working in memory care in a direct care position highly desirednnMaintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesnnCommunicate effectively in a fast pace work environmentnnEngage within a team settingnnStrong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staffnnPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldnnPay Range: $24.00 - $30.10nnPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
