MGB-16888 -RN Emergency Room - Salem, MA - 13 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for an Emergency Room RN to work at our client's facility in Salem, MA.
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
Responsibilities: - Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the health care team.
Qualifications: - 2 years of current experience in Emergency Room as an RN
- Experience with Telemetry
- Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to, assessment, documentation, critical thinking, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, patient education.
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).
- TNCC strongly preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
