Roles/Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of routine Operations, Test and Evaluation (T&E) analytical tasks designed to provide experience and familiarization with T&E methodologies, practices, and programs.
- Works under the guidance and direction of an engineer; assignments screened for unusual or difficult problems and techniques; procedures to be applied to the solution of problems will be selected by an engineer or supervisor.
- Provide professional T&E support within task resources allocated.
- Perform portions of T&E tasks under the detailed direction of an engineer.
- Provide administrative support performing tasks that are specific and broad in scope but increasing in complexity; tasks are designed to enable increasing independent accomplishment; assignments are screened for unusual or difficult problems and techniques.
- Apply commonly used equations and techniques to evaluate and solve assigned problems or systems.
- Coordinate with others to ensure all safety, security, environmental, and community concerns are adequately addressed.
- Serves as an expert in programming and data reduction and analysis scripts in Perl (preferred) and/or Python.
Required Skills and Education: Multiple M&S positions available from mid-level to senior roles.
- Minimum of:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or other closely related technical discipline.
- Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible experience in the management of acquisition programs to include – one (1) year as the team leader of an acquisition project, and an additional three (3) years as a practicing analyst responsible for a functional area of an acquisition program. Experience must demonstrate one (1) or more of the following:
- Knowledge of the Material Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, and Production and Deployment phases of the acquisition process.
- Sufficient familiarity with modern qualitative and quantitative analysis tools to apply to the solution of problems and to provide guidance on the selection and use of such tools.
- Knowledge of modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles of scientific and economic disciplines in determining solutions.
- Knowledge with systems integration techniques, system trade-off analysis, and/or program planning.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in integrated test philosophy, test regulations, and coordinated test and evaluation programs.
- Familiar with drawings, specifications practices, formats, and procedures.
- Proficiency in programing Perl or Python to:
- Maintain existing Perl/Python scripts.
- Developing new Perl/Python scripts, as needed, for analysis.
- Script scenarios on provided M&S tools (i.e. SPTK).
- Oral and written communication such as briefings, authoring technical papers, etc.

- SECRET security clearance is required.
