Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our boutique estate planning law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of estate planning principles and procedures, with experience in document management systems and legal case management. This role is crucial in supporting the attorney/owner in various legal matters, including conservatorships, probate matters, trust administration, various petitions in the court for special needs trusts or revocable trusts.
Experience
Proven experience of 2+ years as a paralegal/legal assistant within a law office environment, in an estate planning law firm is preferred
Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation processes is essential
Experience in estate planning, including document preparation and deed preparation, is highly desirable.
Notary public is highly desirable, or willingness to obtain
Proficiency in using document management systems and legal research tools like CEB and Essential Forms preferred
Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No nights
No weekends
