Peak is seeking individuals to join our Bar Prep team. We are a high volume restaurant in the heart of NYC
This position is ideal for somebody looking to gain initial experience working within a NYC cocktail/bar program. We are a separate department from Culinary.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily juice, syrup, and garnish production / Knife Work
- Proper receiving and rotation of existing product
- Prep kitchen management and understanding of DOH compliance
- Large format production for our bar program at EDGE
- Working closely with our bar team at Peak to check daily needs and understand the role prep plays in our greater program
- Ongoing development of new components and techniques for our bar programs in Hudson Yards with our Beverage Manager
