Apple River State Bank was chartered in 1948 and opened in Apple River, Illinois which still remains a locally owned financial institution. As Apple River State Bank evaluated the local markets, it concluded that branches located in the expanding communities of Jo Daviess County was a means of enhancing its long-term opportunities and offering true community banking services. As a result, Apple River State Bank has opened full-service branches in Apple River, Elizabeth, Galena, Hanover, Scales Mound and Warren, Illinois. In Wisconsin we have two full service branch locations one in Hazel Green and Darlington.
