To apply, click “Apply to Job” online on this web page.nnRequired Skills:nnData Engineer Responsibilities:nnManage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products to solve well-scoped problems.nnIdentify the data needed for a business problem and implement logging required to ensure availability of data, while working with data infrastructure to triage issues and resolve.nnCollaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way.nnBuild data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations for allocated areas of ownership.nnDesign, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production, leveraging common development toolkits.nnIndependently design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production, mentoring others around efficient queries.nnSupport existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.nnDefine and manage SLA for data sets in allocated areas of ownership.nnMinimum Qualifications:nnMinimum Qualifications:nnRequires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience requires two years of experience in the following:nn-Data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, implementation, and maintenance on a large scalenn-Developing and managing data warehousing architecture and plansnnSchema design and dimensional data modelingnn-Managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clientsnn-Processing and analyzing streaming datann-Parsing and mining TBs of unstructured datann-Developing data workflows to integrate with in-house or Third Party API servicesnn-Programing in Pythonnn-Writing SQL statementsnnAnalyzing large volumes of data to provide data driven insights, gaps, and inconsistenciesnn-Dashboard visualization with Tableau or PowerBInn-MapReduce or MPP systemsnnDetermining and implementing the security model based on privacy requirements, confirming safeguards are followed, addressing data quality issues, and evolving governance processes within allocated areas of ownership andnnExperience in CyberSecurity threat analysis needs, User and Entity Behavior Analysis (UEBA), telemetry alerts, and metadata tracking.nnPublic Compensation:nn$209,720/year to $235,400/year + bonus + equity + benefitsnnIndustry: InternetnnEqual Opportunity:nnMeta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
