OverviewnnWe are offering a $10,000 Sign on Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.nnCath Lab Tech IInnWorking in our fast-moving Cath Lab certainly offers a variety of clinical challenges to Cath Lab Techs who choose this clinical area. We love techs who can wear many hats and think quickly on their feet while providing the best patient care! The Cath Lab Tech II Performs duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing each procedurennSt. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX. Acts as mentor and preceptor to new technologist.nnKnowledgeable and demonstrated competency of diagnostic procedures, in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath's, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures, of Electrophysiological studies, and in the operation of Physiological Monitoring system for diagnostic, interventional studies. Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data, documents events, and calculates valve areas.nnMeasure and documents pressure recordings. Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed. Troubleshoots problems and unusual events and reports them to supervisor.nnScrubs at tableside assisting physician with procedure. Able to take Scrub Call Independently and assist Physician's in acute MI and Stroke procedures on unstable patients. Knowledgeable of various Stents their accurate preparation and deployment. Knowledgeable of Thrombectomy procedures, including preparation and deployment. Knowledgeable and demonstrates competency in the insertion of Mechanical Circulatory support device in critically ill patients. Knowledgeable of Intravascular Ultrasound theory and application to include system set up and operation. Knowledge of aseptic technique and ability to maintain a sterile field while assisting the physician in performing the procedures.nnOperates Physiological Monitoring system for Diagnostic, EP, Neuro, and Interventional studies. Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data. Measures and documents pressure recordings. Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed.
