PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify frame code by style cover components and options.
  • Maintain a yield of 67% or higher and nest at least 150 SQ_FT of leather per hour.
  • Read the traveler for correct instructions on what the primary cover will be composed of.
  • Inspect and select more suitable leather to complete the assigned schedule group.
  • Understand the basics of the different leather types and flaws by utilizing a leather manual
  • Perform reworks as required
  • Assure that the nesting station receives the appropriate maintenance/clean-up and performs at acceptable levels.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to operate a computer including the mouse function
  • Familiar with the leather hides and their quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time while operating equipment
  • Ability to read drawings a plus
  • Basic knowledge of English and Math
EFFORT
  • Long term standing and kneeling
