DescriptionnnAmazon's ADX (Amazon Delivery Experience) team is seeking a skilled and visionary Senior UX Designer to join their multidisciplinary design studio. The ADX team is responsible for envisioning and delivering end-to-end solutions across the ecosystem of products that power Amazon's global Transportation, Shipping, and Delivery Services.nnAs a Senior UX Designer on ADX's Middle Mile team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the transportation of goods by creating products for both internal and third-party customers. Your human-centered design process will leverage customer insights, data, UX methodologies, visual design, and accessibility to develop innovative experiences.nnWorking closely with product managers, engineers, and executive leaders, you will create elegant and simple solutions that drive product decisions and roadmaps. Join us as we innovate, deliver, and influence the future of logistics and transportation.nnKey job responsibilitiesnnPlan and propose innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges including, but not limited to: mobile, responsive web, and person-to-person interactions.nnLead the design for improvements of existing experiences and wholly new experiences while planning and defining strategy for the direction of future iterations.nnQuickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.nnAdvocate for your design solutions by putting them in context the inputs that influenced the design decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings.nnDevelop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.nnDeliver work that's user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and also produces results.nnWork alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle.nnAssess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.nnDevelop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.nnPresent design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.nnContribute to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies.nnA day in the lifennAs a UX Designer, you will work closely with a team of UX designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to gather insights about customers and apply your expert information architecture and interaction design skills to the needs and problems you uncover. You will tackle the most significant challenges, generating and evaluating concepts, detailing solutions, and tracking improvements to customer experience and business health. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market.
