Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a customer-focused mindset, providing comprehensive support to end-users and ensuring seamless operation of technology systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing support to end-users, and implementing effective solutions to meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • End-User Support: Provide timely and effective technical assistance to end-users of Windows and Mac computers, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Remote Support: Support remote employees by troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing remote desktop tools, and ensuring secure access to company systems.
  • Device Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain computing hardware and software; both Windows and macOS environments.
  • User Training: Educate and assist users with technology-related questions and best practices.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect organizational data and systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT procedures, system configurations, and user issues.
  • Project Management: Assist in IT-related projects, ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks.
  • On-Site Support: Address technical needs at the Tampa headquarters, including managing office IT equipment like printers, Wi-Fi, and AV systems for meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on end-user assistance.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions and remote support tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like Google Workspace, Azure, & AWS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-service orientation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • This position requires working from the Tampa headquarters office with occasional flexibility for remote work.
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required to address critical issues.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
