Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Residential Wireman will install conduit, fixtures, outlets, connect electrical systems to outside power sources, install undergrounds and run wire.

• Install, repair, or replace residential electric systems
• Service electrical fixtures and equipment
• Monitor and inspect facilities, equipment and systems to determine compliance with state standards, and need for repair or upgrade
• Review blueprints and construction plans
• Complete all electrical connections and pre-inspections
• Ensure permits & inspections meet or exceed code requirements (Permits, inspections, and inspection testing shall be completed by Master Electrician)
• Complete all electrical details per plan
• Use proper hanger and spacing requirements to meet or exceed code requirements
• Complete punch list items
• Keep jobsite clean and orderly daily
• Must complete all work to satisfaction per inspection
• Replace defective parts
• Identify problems
• Inspect systems once installed
• Troubleshoot system failures
• Follow safety protocols
• Learn and comply with building codes
• May be required to do any work outside of the scope of the role to help team complete project

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Basic electrical wiring experience
• Residential construction experience preferred
• Perform duties as assigned, follow instructions, and ask questions
• Capable of lifting or exerting force up to approximately 50 pounds and may occasionally lift or exert force equivalent to lifting, up to 100 pounds
• Ability to identify colors and knowledge of electrical color codes
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Desire to pursue ongoing learning about new systems and materials
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills
