Job Description
Job Title: Computed Tomography/X-Ray Technologist (CT)
Job Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts on Sat-Sun (7 am - 7:30 pm) & Mon (9 am - 9:30 pm)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology
- Thorough knowledge of specialty theory and application
- Experience with cross-sectional anatomy preferred for CT and MRI specialties
- 2 years of experience in mammography imaging and diagnostic procedures preferred
License/Certifications:
- Current ARRT registry required
- Washington State certification required for at least two specialties
- BLS certification required
Must-Have:
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
- Certification requirements met in mammography
- Experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems
Job Description:
- Perform high-quality procedures in computed tomography (CT) and radiology imaging
- Ensure safety precautions are followed during procedures
- Maintain knowledge of specialty applications and procedures
- Utilize expertise in cross-sectional anatomy for CT and MRI specialties
- Conduct mammography imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Document patient information accurately using Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR 2014 Certified EHR Suite
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
