The Senior Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for leading and coordinating interventional cardiovascular procedures, providing mentorship and training to staff, and ensuring high quality patient care and safety. In addition, the role involves conducting specialized procedures, managing work schedules, and overseeing the implementation of quality improvement activities. The position also requires participation in various projects and initiatives to foster growth and innovation within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interventional cardiovascular procedures and therapeutic interventions
- Mentor and train staff members
- Coordinate work schedules and assignments
- Implement quality improvement activities
- Participate in departmental projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology
- Current RCIS or RCES certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
This position is based at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025.
