Health Law Associate

Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join their Health Law Practice Group. This position can be located in the firm's Boston or Hartford office.

Overview:

In this position, you will advise clients on meeting business objectives within the confines of a complicated legal and regulatory environment. The firm represents the spectrum of health care clients, including health systems, hospitals, clinical laboratories, hospice and home care providers, behavioral health care providers, provider networks, durable medical equipment suppliers, ambulatory surgical centers, physicians and other individual providers, clinics, and outpatient facilities. They also represent, and actively work with, investors, lenders, investment banks and other intermediaries and advisors in the health care space.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience advising health care providers on transactional and regulatory health law issues
• Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state
