Responsibilities

  • Vet, onboard, and manage vendors for product merchandising and sourcing.
  • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Create collections by gathering necessary items.
  • Assist in planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments, maximize sales, and profitability.
  • Prepare products in advance for wholesale buyers, considering seasons and holiday periods.
  • Analyze seasonal trends and previous sales to maintain appropriate stocking levels.
  • Forecast sales trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct market research to explore new categories with potential for revenue growth and communicate with relevant teams.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay competitive and identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as PM team, marketing, vendor management teams and logistics to align merchandising strategies with business objectives.
  • Understand products and identify selling points for marketing and promotion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate on new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special projects


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in B2B merchandising, wholesale sales, or related roles, with a strong understanding of wholesale markets and client needs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with merchandising software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Korean and English
  • Experience working in the LA Fashion District/ with a distributor
  • Understanding the e-Commerce fashion market
  • Proficient in MS Office / Excel and Google Analytics
  • Experience in e-commerce B2C or B2B marketplace

Pay Range

The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $65,000 - $78,000 (yr); base pay offered may vary "within the range" depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

A full range of medical, 401(k), and/or other benefits on the position will be offered on top of your base pay. Base pay information is based on market location. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations.
