We are now seeking a Communications Manager to join the global Communications team with support for the Americas region.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing a global media relations strategy, content and messaging that supports Kemira's strategic objectives, with a special emphasis on the North American market. This position is located in our Atlanta Galleria office and is eligible for hybrid work.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and execution of integrated global communications and media relations particularly in North America
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage relationships with key global and North American journalists, editors and influencers.
• Proactively pitch stories to top-tier internation, regional, and industry-specific media outlets
• Media training of Kemira's media spokespeople
• Create and manage compelling content for media, including press releases, briefing documents and messaging frameworks
• Developing of communications concepts and strategies for global communications
• Crisis communications and issues management with Director of Communications and CCO
• Other areas relevant to communications

What you'll bring to the team:

• Masters degree in PR, journalisms, communications, or similar
• Native-level English speaker
• 5 to 7 years of experience in external communications, media relations in a global B2B industry and/or as an journalist
• Proven experience managing media relations in the North American market with an understanding of the global media landscape
• Excellent writing, editing and content development skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
