Job DescriptionJoin the KPFF Lacey team as motivated and skilled Project Manager who demonstrates initiative and accountability to successfully coordinate and complete projects. We are accepting applications to fill positions immediately. Applications should include a resume and cover letter.
Our Project Managers are an essential part of our design teams. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, time management, and communication skills to pursue, develop and execute projects. This position provides opportunities to work on a variety of fish passage projects for both public agencies and private owners which include:
- Stream Assessments
- Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis
- Scour analysis & Scour Countermeasure Design
- Streambed Stability Design
- Large Woody Material Stability Analysis
- Hydraulic Design Reports
- Permit Applications & Permitting Support
- Plans, Technical Specifications & Cost Estimates
- FEMA no-rise analysis and certification
Project Managers are accountable for project coordination and ensuring projects are completed effectively and meet client expectations. General project tasks that our Project Managers perform are as follows:
- Management and / or design of projects
- Primary interface with clients on project coordination and design
- Supervise and direct design engineers and drafters
- Responsible to technical content and quality control
- Establish project fees and schedules
- Track project budget and timing to ensure fulfillment of contract commitments and profitability
- Provide construction administration support
- Communicate with design consultants, municipalities, contractors, and clients
- Attend site visits
Physical Demands and Work Environment- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.
- Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.
Qualifications- B.S. Degree or higher
- P.E. License in Washington
- HEC-RAS and SRH2D knowledge
- Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction of fish passage and stream restoration projects in Washington
- Permitting experience with various environmental regulators such as WDFW and USACE
- Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills are essential
- Competency, accountability, and personal commitment to deliver quality work to our clients
Additional InformationCompensationThe base salary for this role is competitive, with a range of $99,000 - $124,000, determined by experience, education, and skills. KPFF also offers performance-based bonuses to recognize outstanding contributions. Additional details about the full compensation package will be provided during the interview process.
