POSITION SUMMARY:

National CineMedia (NCM), the largest cinema advertising platform in the US, is hiring a new Senior Manager, Marketing Solutions, reporting to the VP, Marketing Solutions out of the NY office. NCM reaches hundreds of millions of young, diverse moviegoers each year through its national network of 18,000+ theaters. We program, produce and sell The Noovie® Show that entertains audiences before the trailers and film begin. Our focus is on helping brands understand how they can leverage the cinema medium and power of movies to achieve their business and communications goals.

The Manager/Senior Manager, Marketing Solutions is a highly visible role on the ad sales marketing team, which is focused on supporting revenue generation. We are seeking a creative, dynamic, detail-oriented individual with very strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to develop impactful ideas and bring them to life. This person will be responsible for the strategic development and maintenance of sales and marketing materials as well as creating custom solutions for advertisers, responding to RFPs, and handling requests from account directors. A component of this role includes ideating and executing experiential and custom branded content programs as part of our bespoke marketing solutions.

The successful candidate is a highly organized multi-tasker who is adept at cross-functional collaboration and excels in a fast-paced environment. The role is a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, requiring creative ideas, punchy writing, proactivity, and a positive, go-getter attitude. This person will work hand in hand with sales, planning, research, and the fully integrated marketing and creative team. The role requires experience working with media/ad sales teams and the media/marketing industry at large.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with sales leaders and clients in internal and external meetings to gather information and inform marketing strategies that will position cinema and our marketing solutions to achieve clients' business goals
  • Craft tailored, creative marketing ideas for advertisers in response to RFPs, including experiential activations and custom branded content programs, aligning with sales goals
  • and client needs
  • Respond promptly and effectively to individual requests from sales team
  • Develop, manage, and maintain sales materials and key documents to support the ad sales team
    • This may include category-specific decks, templated emails for mass distribution to our CRM contacts, movie slate slides, post-presentations decks, movie poster updates, and other materials or tools disseminated regularly to sales
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, planning, creative, research and promotions to deliver on project objectives
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
  • Keep up to date with entertainment, media, marketing, experiential and technology trends that can inspire creative and innovative marketing solutions, and share findings regularly with team members
  • Help analyze new tools, processes and products that may improve NCM's sales pitch or marketing materials/operations


QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-8 years of experience in ad sales marketing or a related media field, with a proven track record in sales materials creation and RFP responses.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with a keen design aesthetic. Experience with Zoomifer a plus.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently.
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR NEW YORK APPLICANTS:

Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $75,000-$95,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
