As we transition from R&D to full-scale manufacturing, we seek an experienced Senior Production Automation Engineer.This role involves full ownership of software-driven production tooling, requiring a proactive approach to address production needs effectively. You will develop tools to streamline and automate Android production processes, focusing on scalable infrastructure for robotic testing and configuration. Ideal candidates are adaptable and solution-focused, with additional experience in backend development, front-end testing interfaces, and remote monitoring.

Responsibilities- Design and develop tools to streamline, semi-automate, and fully automate manual processes in Android production, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
- Build scalable tools and infrastructure to support large-scale robotic testing and configuration, including intuitive front-end interfaces for monitoring and control.
- Lead the software aspects of production tooling, taking full ownership of development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Embrace diverse responsibilities and tackle varied tasks as needed, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to high-demand situations.
- Hands-on experience in a relevant industry role building production tooling and automation systems.
- Experience developing test applications for complex products in fields such as automotive, IoT, drones, or robotics, with a deep understanding of industry-specific testing standards and practices.
- Expertise in creating, managing, and scaling infrastructure to efficiently handle and analyze large volumes of test and production data.
- Excellence in C++ and solid proficiency in Python, with the ability to implement reliable code for industrial applications.
It will be nice if you had- Strong backend development skills, ideally with experience in languages like Golang, Kotlin, or similar.
- Experience building user-friendly front-end interfaces to enhance usability of testing tools for operators and engineers.
- Proficiency with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Practical knowledge of metrics and logging frameworks, enabling effective remote monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud or edge computing platforms to support distributed and scalable production environments.
