Position Overview

The Sr. People Business Partner acts as the critical link between People Partners, People Programs and People Services, leading critical initiatives within our Global People Organization. They will ensure effective alignment to business unit strategic goals and advise the implementation of people practices and objectives. This role is critical in synthesizing information from various sources and developing people strategies that support the firm's global operations and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the critical connection between People Partners, People Programs, and People Services
  • Drive alignment of business unit strategic goals with overall people practices and objectives
  • Lead and coordinate critical initiatives within the Global People Organization
  • Synthesize information from various sources to develop comprehensive people strategies
  • Advise on the implementation of people practices and objectives across the organization
  • Ensure consistent and effective delivery of HR services and support across business units
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align people strategies with firm-wide growth objectives
  • Identify and implement best practices in people management and organizational development
  • Advise and manage performance development process within business unit
  • Counsel and coach leadership on employee performance
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making
  • Participate in the development and execution of change management initiatives related to people practices
  • Act as an escalation point for complex HR issues and provide expert guidance
Key Requirements
  • 7+ years of HR experience, preferably in a business partnering or advisory role
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis tools
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field; HR certification preferred
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
Benefits Summary

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Compensation Statement

The salary range is $118,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
