Job DescriptionWindows EngineerThis position requires an active
TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance.
Manage and maintain Windows servers and systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Implement security measures, monitor system health, and provide technical support. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize and automate processes. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Compensation & Benefits:- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Windows Engineer: $154,000 to $160,000.
- Pay commensurate with experience.

Windows Engineer Responsibilities Include: - Proven success troubleshooting Tier 3, and Tier 4 tickets
- Expert level experience working with Server OS, 2016, 2019, and 2022
- Extensive experience creating OSD task Sequence
- Expert knowledge in Group Policy
- Extensive experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience with cloud technologies
- Must possess Window Server Update Services (WSUS) knowledge and hands on expertise across various enclaved environments
- Proficient scripting in PowerShell
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Candidate must be able to adjust and learn new technologies
- Proven success writing enterprise level technical standards documentation and diagrams
- Must demonstrate effective customer service skills and ability to prioritize and execute tasks and meet deadlines
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Windows Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+) are highly preferred
- Microsoft Task Sequences
- Microsoft PowerShell
- Microsoft Configuration Manager
- Operating System Deployment (OSD)
- Microsoft Windows Update Service
- Understanding of Enterprise Networking best practices
- MCSE/MCITP certification required
