Job Description

Through strategic thinking and strong writing skills, the Sr Content Marketing Manager is responsible for telling the stories that bring Quad's expertise to life and help our clients (senior marketing executives) make smarter marketing decisions by leveraging insights to create compelling content across multiple formats and channels, and partners to test and learn new approaches, constantly optimizing our content to drive better results.

This position will be based out of our Manhattan office on a hybrid schedule - 4 days in office.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand how audiences consume content and keep a pulse on industry trends, using proven expertise to create effective communication strategies across multiple Quad products and services (i.e. direct mail, performance marketing, packaging), as well as various industry verticals (i.e. CPG, Finance, Health
  • Create and oversee the production of high-quality content that engages and educates target audiences, including articles, case studies, videos, webinars and infographics
  • Leverage a variety of content formats and channels (blogs, email, events, video) to reach and engage target audiences
  • Analyzing content marketing metrics and KPIs (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversion rates) to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Test and iterate content formats, distribution channels, and messaging to optimize performance
  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term goals
  • Develop and maintain an editorial content calendar that includes a posting cadence and targeted release dates
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure content is delivered on time and on budget
  • Develop standardized process for content creation to include communication across internal stakeholders to ensure our core benefits are being articulated
  • Generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
  • Ensure brand consistency across all content
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related field a plus
  • 5-7+ years of content marketing experience, with knowledge of content marketing strategies and best practices (B2B and/or marketing product experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing a content strategy, as well as managing internal and external resources.
  • Experience developing content about advanced marketing concepts targeted to senior marketing executives.
  • Focused knowledge and familiarity with building content around topics like omnichannel marketing, data-driven marketing tactics, audience targeting and addressable media.
  • Excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization for search engines and social media platforms.


Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $110k to $130k + bonus, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
