The Compensation Analyst, Senior will design, generate, consolidate, and manipulate compensation data from and to various systems in order to capture data and provide meaningful complex reports/summaries. Provides guidance and assistance in regard to compensation trends and analytics, job evaluation, salary administration, compensation systems, programs, policies, and procedures.
SALARY RANGE $78,520 - $127,962

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides guidance and assistance regarding compensation trends and analytics, job evaluation, salary administration, compensation systems, programs, policies, and procedures.
Leads in the development of compensation-related procedures and guidelines.
Collaborates with the compensation team and external partners across the organization to understand business needs and facilitate compensation practices to support the business.
Partners with HR Business Partners (HRBP), HR Workforce Planning, and internal clients to understand business needs, job requirements, and organizational design to evaluate jobs.
Leads all reoccurring annual compensation processes (merit and mass market adjustments) and other compensation-related projects.
Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data to support good decision-making.
Develops training and communication materials to educate and ensure understanding of total rewards across the organization.
Partners with HRBPs to assist with compensation consulting when working with leaders across the organization.
Provides education and guidance to the compensation analyst.
Evaluates positions for salary grading utilizing third-party survey sources and internal equity reviews.
Supports strategy development and compensation design through the development and ongoing enhancement of data analytics in PowerBi.
Partners with finance in the review and analysis of compensation audits and accruals.
Audits data for accuracy and completeness for reports and files used internally and those submitted to payroll.
Conducts and prepares benchmarking for a variety of total reward projects.
Develops and maintains advanced data models using Power Query and SQL to automate and streamline compensation models, salary survey processes, merit and market increases, and Executive incentive programs.
Manages the secure transfer and integration of compensation-related data through SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) with external vendors and internal systems, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of sensitive compensation data.
May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, data analytics, or economics.
Five (5) years of compensation experience or seven (7) years of data analyst experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in other HR disciplines.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or some coursework by WorldatWork
