Responsibilities

  • Provide and lead strategic IT consulting services to a wide range or MNP's clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including IT Strategy and Planning, Business Alignment and Enablement, Process Redesign, Solution Design, System Selection, Project Management and IT Systems Optimization
  • Design and configure technology stack - Intacct and third party software's such as Bill.com, Expensify, etc
  • Develop business defined solutions that include people, process and technology
  • Design & Flowchart workflows of system, including project/grant management, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounts payable/accounts receivable, financial reports, etc
  • Clean-up historical financials and load into Intacct.
  • Responsible for the delivery of consulting services such as strategic and operational planning, business and IT transformation, business process improvement, performance optimization, organization effectiveness and risk assessment
  • Manage complex projects and undertake the leadership of teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and within the client specifications to ensure project profitability and client satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify business opportunities including defining root cause of issues and developing innovation solutions that achieve client outcomes
  • Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
  • Manage project financials (i.e. use of resources, budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
  • Lead in the collection, development, research and analysis of data including website research, review of reports, interviews, focus groups and surveys
  • Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining findings, facts and highlights resulting from the client engagement
  • Think strategically about client needs by quickly gaining an understanding of their business, their organization, operating environment and key risks
  • Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas and project metrics
  • Perform team management and coordination to align project resources and activities to project work plans
  • Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done by other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
  • Leverage team appropriately to ensure proper documentation is prepared for the client and procedures relating to the file are followed accordingly
  • Promote MNP consulting services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops or participating in community activities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP's services, businesses and industry
  • Active involvement in the business and IT business community to build a relationship network
  • Provide leadership and subject matter experience in proposal development and solution design
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degreein business, technology, engineering or other related field
  • 1-3 years of IT experience in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Sage Intacct experience required
  • Client Accounting experience preferred
  • Accounting, project management, and reporting skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Detail oriented, master of time management and organization
  • Completion of additional certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, CBAP, Agile, CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL) are considered an asset
  • Strong financial and analytical capability
  • Passion for innovation and application of technology to solve complex business problems
  • Experience in project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership
  • Professional experience in IT Strategy and Planning, Business Alignment and Enablement, Business and IT Transformation, Process Redesign, Solution Design, System Selection, Project Management, Implementation Reviews and IT Systems Optimization
  • Experience in proposal development
  • Bilingual (French/English) both written and verbal is considered a strong asset
  • A developed network within the business and IT community is considered a strong asset
  • Some travel may be required
