Position Location: Fort Campbell, KY (On-Site)

About the Role:

The Operations Domain Systems Engineer - Mid provide support on SOCOM and Joint Staff Operations and targeting cycles, understanding of Tactical Data Links, and routing of COP data.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
  • Must know, support, and teach all SOCOM and Joint Staff programs of record for COP management, OAI management, Commander Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) management, as well as other software programs available to units that support an operational requirement.
  • Provide global support to operations and work with assigned units to understand unit specific requirements and report to SOCOM all operation capability gaps for software and technology at the unit level.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and synchronize efforts as required with appropriate Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) and relevant Joint Task Forces and has a solid understanding of Task Regional GSSE Leads as pertains to Command and Control (C2) supporting or support and command relationships.
  • Operations domain support includes attending and maintaining situation awareness on AoR level working groups as it pertains to Mission Command and C2 efforts to include but not limited to, COP Working Groups, Joint Fires WG, Sustainment, Protection and Tactical Data Link (TADL) Working Groups.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience:
  • Minimum four (4) years of progressive experience in technical support position and Operational or Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and terminology experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years operational experience with or supporting an organization's: navigation and mission planning techniques including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems or mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of peacetime and wartime special operations missions.

Education:
  • Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • None.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance:
  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
