The Beverage Technician at US FOODS® is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial beverage equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, along with the ability to operate warehouse equipment. Ideal candidates have a high school education or GED, as well as at least two years of relevant experience in the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• repair, cleaning and sanitation of all beverage equipment for new installations and replacements in accounts
• maintain an adequate inventory of all beverage equipment parts and will be responsible for ordering replacement inventory
• keep beverage room clean and organized at all times
• address all service requests in a professional manner and dispatch calls to third party service companies  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

• High School Education or GED required 

Related Experience/Requirements:

• Two years experience installing and servicing commercial beverage equipment.
• List other experience types preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
• heaving lifting (up to 60 lbs)
• working knowledge of electricity
• working knowledge of plumbing
• working knowledge of refrigeration systems
• mechanical skills
• ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
• ability to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker)
• must have good driving record
