Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical nursing program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure.
- Preferred: One or two years of experience in acute care, geriatrics, adolescents, or rehabilitation settings.
- Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care and Assessment: Conduct assessments, collaborate with Registered Nurses on care needs, and create personalized care plans. Engage patients and families actively in care decisions.
- Understanding Disabilities: Deeply appreciate the multifaceted impact of disabilities, considering developmental factors across all ages.
- Direct Care Delivery: Provide essential patient care under RN supervision. Monitor health status, respond to emergencies, and assist with daily living activities. Accurately transcribe physician orders and administer medications in compliance with policies.
- Documentation: Ensure precise documentation of patient information, maintaining an understanding of the legal implications involved.
- Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and care teams. Participate actively in patient care conferences.
- Patient Advocacy: Promote and protect patient rights, privacy, and dignity, ensuring families are included in decision-making processes.
- Team Collaboration: Optimize team performance through prioritization of tasks and effective delegation.
