Position Details:

• $31.00 per hour + component pay (after training)
• 5-day work week, Monday thru Saturday; days off may vary.
• Possible layovers on certain routes.

Position Purpose:

As a delivery driver, you play a crucial role in the country's food supply chain by ensuring timely and safe delivery of food and related products to customers. You are the face of our company, responsible for building lasting relationships with our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Professionally communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring accurate responses to inquiries.
• Be a team player, completing any assigned duties to best serve the company.
• Conduct all required safety checks as per DOT regulations and report any safety issues promptly.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company guidelines for safe driving.
• Perform product inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of freight.
• Drive on predetermined routes, delivering orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Unload products and transport them to the appropriate areas within the customer’s location.
• Conduct damage control checks and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Verify deliveries with customers and collect payments where necessary.
• Ensure that freight is secured and equipment is properly maintained.
• Keep the vehicle and loading dock area clean and organized.
• Complete daily records of service hours per DOT regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Successfully pass drug tests and background checks as required.
• Valid current DOT Health Card.
• Able to lift and handle products weighing between 10-90 pounds as needed.
