Per Diem Neonatologist - Central Florida - US News & World Report Top Ranked Hospital System
Responsibilities:
Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a per diem Neonatologist to support its practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family.
- Hospital opening date in early 2025
- Annual projected deliveries of 1,000 with an adc in the newborn nursery of 6-7
- Level II NICU projected adc of 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage
- Team of neonatologists, NNPs and Pediatric Hospitalist
- Neonatologist onsite 8 hours daily and will take call from home (24 hour shift)
- Must be in a 30 minute on-call response radius
- NNP schedule of 12 and 24-hour shifts
- Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU located at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level-IV NICU
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
- FL license required
