St. Luke’s University Health Network, the region’s largest and most established health system and one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician (Fellowship Training in Developmental Pediatrics not required) to join our growing Network and to help expand access to patient care within our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Practice.
St. Luke’s Department of Pediatrics is expanding the program and services provided. We are seeking providers who are excited by growth and new opportunities.
Our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics practice is the only one in our region and we are passionate about providing excellent care. The practice is currently located within the St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a general pediatrician with an interest in developmental behavioral pediatrics to join a well-established and dedicated specialty practice to support patients with special needs and their families. We are seeking a provider that is interested in providing support to complex children including medication management, parent guidance, recommendations for daily living skills and social supports. Children seen by this practice include those with diagnoses of ADHD, Autism, Developmental Delays/Disabilities, Language disorders, Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, Selective Mutism.
Practice Highlights:
- Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team including physician(s), advanced practitioners, social work team, education manager, intake coordinator, registered nurse and an experienced team of staff.
- Network specialty support including Pediatric Behavioral Health, Pediatric Neurology and Pediatric Therapy department including Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapy and Feeding Team.
- Opportunities to educate and mentor residents and medical students.
- Dedicated support from services available through St. Luke’s Pediatric Primary Care and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

Pediatric Department/ Network Highlights Include:
- In 2023, St. Luke’s announced the establishment of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital at St. Luke’s Bethlehem Campus and is a proud member of the Children’s Hospital Association, representing decades of growth and investment in pediatrics and the Network’s commitment to pediatric services.
- Luke’s Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics consists of inpatient, neonatal, emergency medicine, child life, specialty and primary care providers spread across a variety of practice locations. The Network also has a robust base of family practice providers throughout the St. Luke’s service area (Pennsylvania and New Jersey).
- Luke’s Children’s Hospital is also home to a newly renovated 17 bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit and 8 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- The Pediatric Emergency Department is a 6 bed unit located within St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and will expand to 11 beds at the completion of an ongoing construction project.
- The department is supported by a growing team of pediatric specialists spanning 40 specialty areas including pediatric surgery, GI, endocrinology, nephrology, developmental pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, psychiatry, pulmonology, radiology, anesthesia, orthopedics, plastic surgery, and more! Many are conveniently located at St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center, the region’s only freestanding building dedicated entirely to pediatric services.
- Growing OB department with over 5,000 deliveries per year.
- Surgical Level III NICU located at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus, PA, 16 bed Level III NICU at St. Luke’s Allentown Campus, 26 bed Level III NICU at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus, and a 6 bed Level II NICU at St. Luke’s Upper Bucks Campus.
