MUST include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate up front with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions. This license is required by the state of NY in order to staff for temporary needs.
  • Please check the job posting requirements for the 14 panel drug screen and make sure your agency can run this entire panel (within 24hrs of offer acceptance) BEFORE you upload your traveler to this need. Thank you! As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of the following groups for onboarding and clearance.
  • Unit Details: Consist of mainly tele/cardiac patients. # of Beds in unit: 16. RN to Patient ratio: 4:1. Patient Population: Adult - Geriatric. Dress code: any color scrubs. Remote Tele Unit. MUST be able to follow & comfortably meet Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift.
    Job Requirements
  • MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE - NON-NEGOTIABLE.
  • 3 years experience required.
  • Must be comfortable and hit the ground running working Nights.
  • Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac/Tele, Med-Tele Units - Required.
  • Previous travel experience: strongly encouraged.
  • Must have telemetry experience.
  • MUST be able to comfortably follow Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift.
  • Neuro/stroke experience encouraged.
  • Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile.
  • NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.

  • Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
    Unit Specific Information
  • Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
  • Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs.
  • Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25%. Call: 4.00 (Not applicable to this need). Charge: 3.00 (Not applicable to this need).
    Additional Details
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
  • Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented.
  • Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment), License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS).
  • Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
  • Travelers from specific counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls.
