  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification
    Job Details
  • ***Primarily ED Holding, but will need to have Stepdown and/or Med Surg experience due to floating***
  • The Stepdown/MS RN's will hold the stepdown/medsurg patients in the ED while they wait for a room. If they are not needed to hold patients they will float to the units.
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Years of experience REQ: 2 years
  • Ratio: 1:6/7
  • First-timers accepted: No
  • On-Call: As needed
  • Weekend REQ: As needed
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? No, weekend block may be considered
  • Locals accepted: No, 100 mile radius rule
  • Pending License accepted: No, all travelers must be in compliance with NLC guidelines
  • RTO Restrictions: All RTO must included at time of submission
  • Special Requirements: Med Surg Exp, Stepdown Exp, Travel experience required
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience required
  • State License - Copy of Professional License
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Core Part I, Core Part II, Core Part III required within a year of start and updated annually
    Additional Details
  • Background Check within 60 days of start
  • Two recent professional references are required
  • Physical Statement required within 1 year of start
