  • BLS
  • ACLS (mandatory as per job requirements)
  • PALS (for PEDS - Preferred for the Emergency Department specialty)

  • Strong preference for 48 hours, 36 acceptable.

  • Education & Certifications Required: ENPC, PALS, TNCC preferred; CPI or MOAB preferred
  • Dress Code: No specific scrub color. Hospital supplies light blue scrubs. Hoodies, t-shirts with unprofessional sayings are unacceptable attire
    Job Requirements
  • RN role in Emergency Department
  • 2 years of experience in level one trauma Emergency Department preferred
  • Must have ACLS certification
  • Candidates who will NOT work in critical Care/Trauma rooms or triage are preferred
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 0730AM-0800PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36
  • Weekend Hours 36 (unless otherwise noted)
  • No call requirements
    Unit Specific Information
  • Type of Patients on Unit: All patients presenting to the Emergency Department with any complaint
  • Will NOT work in critical Care/Trauma rooms or triage
  • Ages of patients 0-120
  • If not familiar with PEDS will not be scheduled there
  • Personality Fit: teamwork and positive attitude

  • Only Level one Trauma center in the state with an average of 200 plus visits per 24 hour period
