Insight Global is looking to fill an Operations Manager role based in Tilsonburg, Ontario. This is a permanent, 5 days a week, onsite role. This role involves collaborating with team leaders in scheduling, shipping, and production to ensure seamless coordination and efficient operations. The candidate must supervise the manufacturing process, ensuring timely production while upholding high-quality standards and holding staff accountable.
Key responsibilities include managing material and equipment availability, implementing and maintaining quality standards in collaboration with the Quality Manager, and ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures. The successful candidate will address stock availability and quality issues to prevent disruptions in customer service, oversee production and quality control for all products, and implement lean manufacturing principles. Staying informed about industry standards and fostering a collaborative team environment are essential parts of this role, alongside setting and measuring operational performance against clear quality metrics.
Must Haves:
- 4-8 years of operations management experience preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Lean manufacturing experience
- ERP Experience (SAP, Oracle or Salesforce)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
