Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial glazing systems, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive estimates for large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Develop detailed, accurate, and timely cost estimates for curtain walls, windows, doors, and other glazing systems.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications and budgets.
• Identify and evaluate risks, challenges, and opportunities for each project.
• Prepare bid proposals, review contracts, and participate in tender negotiations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, materials, and techniques.
• Oversee and mentor junior estimating staff, fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in estimating within the commercial glazing or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of aluminum curtain walls, thermal breaks, and custom glazing systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with precision.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
