About the program and position

The Master of Management is a digitally focused program designed to provide our graduates with a competitive edge in a rapidly changing digital economy. It offers two main specializations – Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology.


The faculty of Master of Management invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Emerging Technology. The appointment will commence on January 2, 2025, or shortly thereafter.


Reporting to the Associate Dean, the successful candidate will bring a blend of academic rigor and practical expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence (Ai), blockchain, cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT) and data analytics. A key focus of this role is preparing students for careers in an evolving and technology-driven landscape.


The successful candidate will engage in independent research and scholarly activities, contribute to program development and continuous improvement. Service to the faculty and university is expected, with effective, respectful, and collaborative work in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.


The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • Doctoral Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration with a specialization in Emerging Business Technologies.
  • Master’s in Business Administration/Management, IS/IT, Business Technology or a related field
  • Experience working in the field of Emerging Technologies, particularly in areas such as Management Information Systems (MIS), artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, or cybersecurity.
  • Related industry experience and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, causal inference empirical research, or analytical modelling, to enhance student learning through real life scenarios and case studies is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Data Privacy Professional (CDPP), etc. are added qualifications.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
