A bit about us: We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruiting and hands-on experience with Paycom to join our team in the hospitality, real estate, or construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
This is a hybrid role-3 days a week in the office and 2 at home. There is also succession planning in this position, as the current HR Director is looking for someone to move into her position in the next few years. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and grow within this company!!

Job Details Our company, a leading force in the Accounting and Finance industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in our organization, driving our human resources initiatives and fostering a culture that values and rewards employee engagement and performance excellence. The HR Generalist will be instrumental in managing a broad range of HR functions including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
