A-Line Staffing is now hiring Overnight Pharmacists in the Harrisburg, PA 17111 area! The Pharmacist will be working in a retail pharmacy setting! The position is a full time 40 hours per week!nn*This is a 13 week contract with potential to extend or possibility to convert to permanent!*nnPay: $62.25-68.50/hr - Pay is based on experience!nnSchedule: Overnights - 8 hr shifts/40hrs a weeknnThe pharmacy is open 24hrs 7 days a weeknThe schedule will be overnight shifts must be comfortable with this!nnJob Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with their health care needs by filling prescriptions, providing excellent customer service, and supervising Pharmacy associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.nnJob Responsibilities:nnEnsure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.nBuild profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs, including appropriate immunization and, when available, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), DCS (Diabetes Care Specialist), and other ongoing programs as identified.nProvide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.nSupervise the work completed by Pharmacy Technicians and support staff while on duty.nDispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while providing patient counseling on proper medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions.nCollaborate with health care providers to ensure optimal patient care, managed inventory, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols.nConduct medication therapy management (MTM) to optimize patient health outcomes, monitor for adverse effects, and recommend alternative therapies when necessary.nAdministers immunizations and provided health screenings, offering additional services to improve community wellness.nManages pharmacy operations, including supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and maintaining proper inventory control.nnRequirements:nnRegistered Pharmacist License in the state of PennsylvanianBachelor's Degree Required / PharmD is highly preferrednImmunization CertificationnPharmacy experience in a retail setting is highly preferred!nnIf you're interested in the Overnight Pharmacist opportunity please apply to this posting for immediate consideration or feel free to call, text, or email Silvana at 847-450-6511 /
