Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine for a local contract job in Tarboro, North Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Emergency MedicineDiscipline: Nurse PractitionerStart Date: 01/02/2025Duration: 12 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: Local Contract Seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locums coverage in their Emergency Department. Candidates will need to come in the day before for a paid orientation.
Coverage Needed: (11a-11p)
6-12 shifts per month December - March, 2025
Highlights include:
Hospital privileges
20-bed Emergency Department
60-70 patients daily
Emergency Medicine provider team includes 5 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers
24-hour physician coverage
Telestroke support
Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients
System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Clean NC license
DEA
