A Day in the Life of a Care Options for Kids Nurse

Start your day by connecting with your care team, including parents and fellow nurses, with detailed client information readily available on our dedicated electronic health record (EHR) system. Your client welcomes you with warmth, engaging you in a way that reflects your deep bond.

The day unfolds with excitement—whether it's exploring outdoors, crafting flower crowns, or reading together. You will be responsible for administering medications, caring for the trach and G-tube, and meticulously documenting care in our user-friendly Point of Care system. Each moment is an opportunity to enrich lives, blending your clinical expertise with personalized care.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Delivering individualized nursing care in a home setting
• Collaborating with the clinical team under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Adhering to the prescribed plan of care
• Following all clinical and operational policies

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Valid LPN License in Pennsylvania or a Multistate License
• PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation
• Current in-person BLS CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with G-tubes, trach, and vents is preferred; training is available for those willing to learn
